Paving

This patio had been extended some years ago but with excessive amounts of rainwater running over the surface, power washer damage and finally frost damage it was time to renew. On lifting the existing paving the base was found to be solid so all the kerb edgings were raised and paving bedded up to levels and falls on semi dry mortar. There was approx 1sqm of unusable small stone, which had to be replaced by breaking up quality reclaimed Yorkshire stone flags.
